Activities : River Rafting and Water Fun

River Rafting in the swirling waters of glacial rivers is a challenge as well as an unforgettable experience. The trips go through majestic canyons in several of the rivers in South Iceland. This is one of the most popular activities here in the region. The season usually starts in May and ends in late September (this year it went well into October as the autumn was very mild).

Cliff jumping, sea-kayaking and challenging water-climbing are all also possible. The grades vary from 1-4. Number 1 for the whole family and number 4 has an age limits of 18 plus. All necessary outfits are provided dry-suits, helmets, life jackets, socks and shoes.
