The Hotels very well-reputed and romantic gourmet "Restaurant 4" seats 110 people downstairs + 100 upstairs in the 2 meeting rooms. The theme is Icelandic/Scandinavian cuisine with a touch of the modern French & Italian kitchen. The emphasis is on excellent yet personal service and using the highest quality food with carefully selected organic local ingredients (including local trout and char, lamb, goose, duck, puffin and seafood). Lying on the banks of one the worlds top salmon rivers (The Eystri Ranga) for the past few years also means that we offer our guests top quality, fresh wild Atlantic salmon whenever in season. This is something which is very unique today as few restaurants still have real wild salmon on their menus - it is almost all farmed these days. Tasting the Ranga Salmon will enlighten you of this unmistakable difference of taste and quality.
